SARAH + DEREK
About the lovers:
Derek and Sarah first met when they were in town over winter break in 2018. She was out at JJ's, the local watering hole, grabbing drinks with a mutual friend who introduced the two of them. They had a quick conversation with a couple of laughs, and thought that would be the end of it.
Almost 2 years later, Derek and Sarah had both moved to Abingdon after College to start their careers. Sarah and Derek were hanging out at a mutual friend's house where they met for the second time. After picking up where they left off, Derek had reached out to Sarah about going on a first date.
They decided to have their first date at JJ's where they first met. They thought it was going to be a quick dinner and drink, but they talked for so long they shut down the bar and didn't even order dinner.
From that point on they were inseparable. After a year of dating, Derek's job took them to Fort Worth, Texas. Sarah began work as a Paralegal pretty quickly after they moved. They then purchased their first home together in 2022, where they now live as a little family with their 2 pugs and cat, Poppy, Lola & Kitty.
These two are the most IN LOVE couple I have ever met. They were so sweet and friend, and we totally VIBED. There are many things that I value in my business, but my first would have to be client connection. It’s SUPER DUPER important to me that my couple’s and I mesh well together. As much as my clients pick me, I also pick them. Making sure that the couple and I hit it off very well ensures and AMAZING experience as well as the Images.
This couple was COMPLETELY open to my creative vision and gave me the reigns to direct them however I wanted (My favorite words ever). I basically dragged them through every foot of the stockyards during prime time on the weekend, but the images were WORTH IT.
