This has to be one of my favorite venues to photograph of all time. It was 40 degrees outside and sunny. Perfect weather to not be in the dreadful Texas summer heat back home during the summer yet cool enough to wear a light sweater and still walk though the sand on the beach. The lake was shimmering and the trees were dancing. This moment in time was genuinely perfect for this couple.
Round Hill Pines Beach Resort is located in an charming cove in Nevada. With the perfect view of Lake Tahoe, this resort offers a simple, yet enchanting scenery that makes it perfect for almost any wedding or elopement. Along with the shore venue, this resort also offers plenty of boat rentals to help enhance and elevate the experience of any wedding.

Hailey and Miles gave me total creative freedom when it came to posing them for this special day. They were unique and I wanted their photos to emphasize that. I decided to take traditional bridals that I felt would really enhance their gallery along with more unique and layered poses that spruced up their gallery and made them stand out. One key factor of these images was simply that Hailey was getting cold, so I challenged myself to think outside of the box while she wore his jacket for a few minutes. In the end, I think this elopement was absolutely amazing. This sort of elopement is perfect for couples who love the idea of nature but don’t want to do miles of hiking. This venue is at the end of a cove, so It makes it semi-private, and allows for some of the gorgeous trees to show in the photos instead of them being all beach. If you want something small, and beautiful, and simple, this is one of the best types of elopements I would recommend.
